An Opening Invocation

This rite uses the names of the Persian stars called "thewatchers of the heavens" and the tattwa symbols for an elemental,directional, opening.

The Rite:

Say: WE ARE HERE

Make an inverted triangle out of three points on the groundat your feet with a magickal dagger or wand.

Say: WE CALL YOU

Face north. Cry REGULUS. Visualize a yellow square (earth).

Face east. Cry ALDEBARAN. Visualize a blue disc (air).

Face west. Cry FOMALHAUT. Visualize a red triangle (fire).

Face south. Cry ANTARES. Visualize a silver crescent (water).

Return to center. Say: WELCOME.

Make an upright triangle on the ground at your feet out ofthree points, thus forming a six pointed star.

Say: LET IT BEGIN.

Visualize a large black egg above the working space (representingakasha).

Chant three times:

ANNUNA LLAMASTU
MAGAN E LAHMU
ISTA KI KUTHA
EKASHA
