Tiamat is the Law

The statement of intent:

The intent of this ritual is to transcend through gnosis into the all or "no-thing" and become part of it.

The hope is to do this by focusing on Tiamats' name written upon your arms. While at the same time using the bodies' various sensations and energy waves between the Candidate and the Initiator as a means to enter gnosis. It is believed that this is a way to escape the body, enter further into the mind and out of it. It is not necessary to write the Godforms' name in any other foreign languages or glyphs because it is the symbolic act of marking yourself as the sigil that is cast into the rite. Tiamat is one of the original watery abyss Gods of creation from Summeria. Through research I have found Nuit and Leviathan to be other aspects of her. The Law refers to many laws and yet the simple basic ones that Crowley put best.

The Rite

Candidate inscribes the Godform name (Tiamat) upon their arms before the ritual during set up.
Candidate is comfortably attired for the rite (personal choice).
The temple place is set up with previous agreed upon equipment and tools.
Music fitting the rite is played (personal choice).
Incense fitting the rite is burned (personal choice).
The Chaos sphere and Chaos banner may be displayed.

The specific tools used were basic yet not basic S&M tools used in the classic way to create gnosis through sensations.

THIS IS NOT A SEXUAL RITE, IT IS A MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ENDURANCE RITE.

Candidate stands next to Initiator and begins deep breathing.
With the deep breathing, verbal intonations of E are done.
With the deep breathing, verbal intonations of I are done.
With the deep breathing, verbal intonations of O are done.
At this point the Candidate should be focusing on Tiamat and statement of intent.

The following passage by Burroughs is read by the Initiator to help set the mood of the ritual further.

Candidate is blindfolded and strung up.

Initiator reads and begins the questions.

In a moment there was the Watery Abyss.
Then the Watery Elder Gods came forth.
From the God known as Tiamat, Leviathan or Nuit all were created or born.
Tiamats' winged attendants guard her temples and palaces.
You who have taken your wings back wish to serve her.

Can you endure for Her as She endured Marduks' arrow and the cleaving of
Her body to create the heavens and earth?
(Candidate response) I will.
Can you prove yourself true where other gods have failed Her?
(Candidate response) I will.
Can you prove yourself worthy of Her attention and love with your devotion?
(Candidate response) I will.
Can you give of yourself into Her arms of Watery Abyss?
(Candidate response) I will.
Can you give up yourself into the All of what Tiamat is and creates?
(Candidate response) I will.
Will you transcend all to reach her transcendence?
(Candidate response) I will.

Tiamat is the Law, Love is the Law, Love under Will. Do what thou Will.

The Endurance part of the rite to gnosis begins.
During this part of the rite, the previous questions may be asked to gauge where the Candidates' gnosis is going.
The physical/ symbolic act of cutting or rending of the body may be done as well.
Once a point of Endurance is reached. Due to a decision by either both or the Initiator, the Candidate is taken down.
The Candidate is then wrapped (using saran wrap) into a mummy like cocoon to begin the death part of the ritual.
The Candidate is laid flat upon the floor to begin the rest of the rite inside their head.
The Initiator may at this time also help the energy flow by channeling the energy of the rite into the Candidate.
When sufficient time has passed the Initiator begins the releasing of the Candidate from the wrap.

This is to help further symbolize the Candidate being reborn into self-hidden knowledge or transcendence.

Once free, the Candidate stands or is helped to their feet.
The Candidate and Initiator face each other.
The blindfold is removed.
The Initiator speaks:
Tiamat is the Law, Love is the Law, Love under Will. Do What thou Will.

The rite is finished.

Banish any left over feelings/ energy with Laughter.
